We are looking for an associate (programmer in A. I.) and offer the exclusive rights to work on the A. I. (Artificial Intelligence) part of this project to the first programmer who manages to create a working algorithm capable of winning a game against a human.
The present invention is protected under many copyright protections and has a very promising potential. This first person who manages to create a working algorithm capable of winning a game against a human player, becomes the formal “A. I. Design Time Chess Adviser” within our team. All members of our team are voluntary people who believe in the future of this project and will have a rightful part of the profits to be.
- Because classic chess openings and endgames became easy for both humans and machines (the great masters and the current A.I. tools) – the present chess game version with its challenging rules could be the next big challenge in this domain which significantly limits how the great masters and computers can think (by memorizing a huge quantity of chess game openings and endgames positions). This version does not seem to affect the essence of the classic chess game and respects its historical rules in an intriguingly subtle way so the great masters and the machines must use more “intuition” even memorizing a huge quantity of chess game openings and endgames positions.
The rules which implementations requires a rethinking of the algorithms :
At the start of the game, each piece has an individual inactive timer that will later be counting down. When a piece is lifted from the chessboard for the first time its countdown begins, and the piece becomes activated, and when the player ends its move, all timers pause during their opponent turn. As soon as the opponent has played his move - all activated pieces from the current player start counting down again. Non-activated pieces show always the initial time and their timers remain inactivated until the first move with this (these) piece(s). It is important to mention that when an activated piece's timer has reached 00:00 sec. it continues to serve its purpose as when playing with the normal rules. Capturing an opponent’s piece has no influence on the timer of any piece.
It is also important to emphasize the particular situation where all the activated pieces from one player have finished counting down and there remains inactivated pieces from the same player, then all those aforementioned activated pieces start counting down at the same instant (and thus become all activated at the same time).
A player looses “on time” from the very moment all his pieces present on the table have finished counting down (assuming he hasn't already won, lost or played draw, according to the normal chess rules).
The present invention is not only protected as an author work but as an original design invention too, so all games and all rules incorporating this design are under the same copyright protections.
